Our office is situated at 12/45 in Sri Ram Colony, which is part of the Abiramapuram neighborhood in Alwarpet. It’s a nice enough spot in Chennai, tucked away in a residential area so it’s a bit quieter than the main roads. We are a software team working out of this building. It’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of tangled wires everywhere. The air conditioning is always running because the Chennai humidity is no joke. We spend our days coding and fixing bugs while drinking way too much coffee from the small pantry. The street outside is narrow and lined with trees, which gives a bit of shade when we step out for a break. We’ve been at this Alwarpet location for a while now. It’s not one of those massive tech parks, just a local office where we know each other’s names. Sometimes the internet acts up or the water cooler runs dry, but we manage. Being in Abiramapuram means we are close to some decent food spots, so lunch is usually the highlight of the day. We don't have a big reception desk or anything, just a door that stays shut to keep the cool air in. It’s a simple setup for a group of people who just want to get their programming work done without too much fuss. We stay pretty focused on our screens most of the time to keep things moving.
