We spend most of our days here at Old No. 48 / 2 in Gandhinagar. It’s on the Iiird Main Road in Adyar, which most people around here know pretty well. Our office isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside, but it’s where we get everything done for Lmt India Pvt.Ltd. The stairs are a bit steep and the paint is peeling in a few spots near the entrance, but we like it this way. Usually, the morning starts with the sound of traffic picking up outside on the main road. Someone usually brings in tea from the stall nearby around ten. We have a few desks pushed together and a lot of paperwork that seems to never end. Being in Adyar means it gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep the windows open to catch whatever breeze comes off the coast, though mostly it’s just humid air. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, and the neighbors in Gandhinagar have mostly stopped asking what we do inside. It’s just a regular place of work. We handle our day-to-day tasks without making a big fuss about things. If you come looking for us at New No. 62, you might miss the sign because it’s a bit faded from the sun. We just keep our heads down and focus on the work that needs finishing before the sun sets over the buildings across the street.
