Our office is tucked away in a lane off EVR Periyar High Road. The address is a bit confusing because it has both a New No. 27 and an Old No. 905, so we usually have to explain that to people when they’re trying to find us for the first time. It’s a fairly quiet lane compared to the main highway, which is nice when you’re trying to concentrate on work. The building is an older style, nothing too modern, but it works for what we do. We have some basic furniture and the usual office equipment scattered around. Most of the staff has been here long enough that we know all the local tea stalls and where to get a decent lunch nearby. The lane can get a bit cramped if a big truck tries to come through, but usually, it’s just small cars and bikes. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. You just walk in and we're right there. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s not really a priority right now. We spend our days mostly at the computers, dealing with whatever software stuff is on the schedule. It’s a simple routine. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to do, and the lane gets really dark at night. It’s just a normal place where we come to work. We have a small bookshelf for manuals and a few plants that we try to keep alive.
