Our office is located at 10 and 11 in the Garment Complex within the T. V. K. Industrial Estate. Being in an industrial estate means things are quite different from a regular commercial street. There are a lot of trucks moving around and the sounds of machinery from the nearby units. We have a couple of units ourselves to fit everything we need. The space is very functional, with high ceilings and concrete floors that are easy to keep clean. It’s not the kind of place where you’d expect a lot of decor. We have our workstations set up in a way that makes sense for the flow of our work. Most of the people around here are also working in manufacturing or tech, so there’s a shared sense of just getting the job done. We usually arrive when the gates open and stay until the evening. The air in the industrial estate can be a bit dusty, but we’re used to it. We have a small area where we take our breaks and have some coffee. It’s a bit of a trek to get to the main road from here, so we usually bring our own lunch. We’ve been in the T. V. K. area for a bit now and it suits us. It’s a place for work, not for show. We don’t have fancy meetings, we just talk across the room.
