Our office for Layots Technologiesprivate Limited is right on Velachery Main Road in Saidapet. The address is 82(116), and it’s a pretty busy part of Chennai to be in. If you know the area, you know how the traffic can get out there during rush hour, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of us typing away. We have been here for a bit now. It is a simple setup, nothing like those big glass buildings you see in the fancy IT parks. We prefer it this way. It feels more real to be right in the middle of a regular, busy neighborhood. We have a few rooms where we keep all our equipment and servers. Most of our day is spent looking at screens and trying to solve whatever problems come up. We don't have any big speeches or mission statements about what we do. We just do the work. Sometimes we stay late when a project is giving us a lot of trouble, and other times we manage to leave right on time. The building is older but it works for what we need. You can see the street from our windows, which is good for taking a quick break from the screen. We are just a group of people who know our way around technology and happened to set up our shop in Saidapet. It’s a honest day’s work for us. No fancy titles, just the daily grind.
