Our company, Kgp Tech Solutions Llp, is on the 5th floor of the building at 110/1 Nungambakkam High Road. It is right in the middle of a very busy part of Chennai. Being on the 5th floor is good because we are a bit away from the street noise, but you can still hear the horns honking if the window is open. The office is quite simple. We have our computers, some whiteboards that are always covered in scribbles, and a few chairs for visitors. It’s not a large space, so we all sit fairly close to each other. This makes it easy to ask questions or get help without having to send an email. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk right into the workspace. There is usually a pile of mail near the door and a few umbrellas leaning against the wall for the monsoon rains. We are just a group of people who know a lot about technology and like to solve problems. We don't use any big words to describe ourselves. We just do the work that comes our way. Lunch is usually a highlight because there are so many good food stalls around Nungambakkam. We often go out to grab something quick and bring it back to the office to eat. It’s a busy, everyday kind of life here for all of us.
