K2D Technologies Private Limited is tucked away in the Saptamallika Apartments on P.H. Road. We are on the first floor of the middle block, specifically 1-D. It’s a nice enough spot in Kilpauk, right in the heart of Chennai. Working out of an apartment building makes things feel a bit more relaxed than a cold office park. We have our setup there and we spend most of our hours looking at screens and dealing with tech issues. The address is 188 P.H. Road, which is easy to find if you know the area. It can get pretty noisy with the Chennai traffic outside, but inside we just focus on the work. We started this company because we wanted to do our own thing in the technology space. It isn't a massive operation with hundreds of employees. It's just a dedicated team in a middle block apartment. We like it this way. We get to know the neighbors and the security guards. There is a lot of history in Kilpauk, and being here feels right for us. We handle a variety of tech projects and just try to keep our heads down and work hard. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, so we take the stairs. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people doing technical stuff. We don't have a big marketing budget, we just rely on doing things right and staying busy. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we have the fans going.
