K.T. Leather Stores

K.T. Leather Stores is located right near the CBI building and directly opposite the Gheekata Post Office. It’s a very easy spot to find if you are in the neighborhood. The shop has a specific smell—that thick, heavy scent of leather that hits you the moment you walk through the door. We have shelves lining the walls from floor to ceiling, and they are packed with all sorts of things. Sometimes it looks a bit messy because we are always moving stock around to find what a customer needs. The counters are old and have scratches from years of use, but they are sturdy. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or bright neon lights. We just have regular tube lights that show the colors of the leather clearly. On rainy days, the shop gets a bit damp, and we have to be careful with the stock, but that’s just part of being in an old building. The post office across the street is always crowded, so there’s a lot of people-watching we do from the front door during the quiet hours. We usually open up early in the morning and stay until the street lights come on. It’s a simple business. We know our products well, and we know how to handle the material. People come to us because they know where we are and they know we’ve been here for years. It is just how we do things.
