K.S.R Industries

K.S.R Industries is based on Millers Road in Kilpauk. We've been at 83/1 for quite a long time now. The building isn't much to look at, just a regular industrial shed with a small office in the corner. Every morning we open the big metal gates and start the machines. It gets quite loud once things are running, but we are used to it. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years. There are more houses now, so we have to be careful about the noise in the evenings. Most of the people working here have been with us for ten or fifteen years. We know each other's kids and families. Lunch is usually a simple affair, someone brings extra pickles and we all share. We deal with various metal parts and industrial components. It's dusty work. You can always see a layer of fine metal dust on the windowsills. We don't have a big sales team or fancy brochures. People who need our work usually just find us by talking to other shop owners. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we all sit outside under the small porch until it comes back. The tea shop at the corner is where we get our morning break. It’s a decent life, keeping the business going year after year without too much fuss or trouble. We just focus on getting the orders finished.
