We share the address at No-32 Gandhi Road in West Tambaram, right where the street gets quite busy with all the shops and people moving about. This is where we do our Siddha and Ayurveda work. The air inside our part of the building smells different than the rest of the street because of the oils and the dried herbs we keep in the back. It’s a bit of a calm spot compared to the noise of the traffic outside on Gandhi Road. We spend a lot of time grinding things down or mixing up traditional preparations for the people who come to see us. Many of our patients are regulars who have been using these methods for years and don't like the modern stuff. The rooms are simple, with wooden tables and some shelves filled with jars. We don't have much in the way of fancy equipment because that's not how we work. It’s more about the hands-on stuff and taking the time to listen to what’s wrong. The floor is made of old stone that stays cool even when the sun is beating down on West Tambaram. Our team is small, just a few of us who really understand the old ways. We start early in the morning, getting the oils ready before the heat sets in. It’s a slow, steady kind of work that follows the rhythm of the neighborhood and the seasons. We just stay here and help whoever walks through the door looking for traditional care.
