Jv Polymer

We are located at No.1, Ambethkar Nagar, in the Poonamallee area of Chennai. It’s a spot that stays quite hot for most of the year. Being at No.1 makes us easy to spot once you enter the lane. The building is a simple one-story structure with a metal roof. When it rains, the sound is so loud we can hardly hear each other talk. We started Jv Polymer with just a couple of machines and we’ve stayed in this same spot ever since. The neighborhood is mostly residential mixed with a few small shops. We try to keep the noise down in the evenings so we don't bother the families living nearby. The smell of plastic is something you get used to after the first week. We have a small yard in the front where we load up the tempos. The ground is a bit uneven, so we have to be careful when moving heavy bags. Our team is small, mostly just a few local guys who walk to work. We don't have a website or a big sales team. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. We spend a lot of time just keeping the machines maintained and the space clean enough to work. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We open the doors at eight and usually wrap things up by six. It’s just honest work in a busy part of Chennai.
