Jarc Creations

Our place is on Pushpa Nagar Main Road in the Lake Area of Nungambakkam. It’s a nice part of town, though parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes on this street. Jarc Creations has been operating out of this #4 building for a while now. We mostly do creative work, handling different types of fabrics and designs. The room is usually filled with scraps of cloth and threads. My desk sits near the window where I can see people walking by toward the lake. It gets a bit noisy during the school rush hours, but otherwise, it’s a good spot to work. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most of the people who come here are from around Nungambakkam or heard about us from a neighbor. We spend a lot of time on the sewing machines or sketching out ideas on paper. Sometimes a project takes longer than we thought, so we stay late. The coffee shop down the road is where we usually get our afternoon drinks. It’s just a small team here, and we all know each other well. We try to keep the workspace tidy, but when you’re busy making things, it naturally gets a bit cluttered. We’ve got a lot of samples hanging up on the walls so people can see what we’ve been working on lately. It's just a regular workday for us most of the time.
