Abani Creations

Our shop is located at No. 22 Muthu Mudali Street in Vyasarpadi. If you know this part of Vyasarpadi you know it is a place where people work hard. We have a small shutter door that we open early every morning. Abani Creations is just a humble place with a few benches and a lot of tools. We spend our time making various items by hand and it gets quite hot in here during the summer months. There is a small window in the back that lets in some light but we mostly rely on the overhead bulbs. The street outside is narrow and cars can't really come through so we see a lot of people walking by. We have a radio that plays old songs all day to keep us entertained while we work. My grandfather started this place many years ago and not much has changed since then. We still use the same heavy scissors and the same wooden tables. Sometimes we run out of materials and I have to go to the main market to get more. It is a lot of back and forth but it is part of the job. We don't have a big sign or any bright lights outside. People just know we are here at number 22. It is a local business and we are happy to be part of this community for so long.
