We’re tucked away in Subrabath Apartments at No 4. It’s on 6th Street in Kumaran Colony. If you know where the Sengundar Kalyana Mandabam is in Vadapalani, we’re right near there. It’s a busy little area, especially when there’s a big wedding at the hall. Art Attack is basically run from this flat. We’ve got stuff piled up everywhere—papers, paint supplies, and old brushes. It’s not the most orderly place, but we know where everything is. Living and working in Vadapalani has its moments. The traffic outside can be a nightmare sometimes, but it’s home to us. We started this because we wanted to do something creative. It wasn't about making a huge corporation or anything. It’s just us doing what we like. People drop by sometimes just to see what we're working on today. We usually have tea and talk about the latest projects. Sometimes we work late into the night when we have a deadline to meet. The neighbors are used to us by now. We try not to make too much noise after dark. Being in an apartment means we have to be a bit mindful of everyone else. We keep things simple here. No big meetings or fancy suits. Just regular clothes and a lot of work to get through. It’s a small operation, but it keeps us busy. We like the vibe of the colony. It feels like a real community where people actually talk to each other. We’re happy to be here in our little space.
