K. S. Designs

K. S. Designs is our small operation in Ashok Nagar. We don't have a giant storefront with big lights. It’s more of a workspace where we sit and figure things out. Whether it’s sketches or digital stuff, we just stay busy. Ashok Nagar is a nice place to be, and we’ve been here long enough that we know the shortcuts and the best places to grab a quick tea. Our desks are usually covered in papers and bits of projects we are working on. It’s not the tidiest place, but we know where everything is. We don't really do the whole corporate meeting thing. Most of the time it’s just us talking over the noise of the street. We take on all kinds of design tasks. Some are small and quick, others take up the whole week. We don't have a huge marketing team or anything like that. We just do the work and hope people like it enough to tell their friends. It’s a simple way to run things. We like the creative side of it, even when it gets stressful near a deadline. There are always a few half-finished ideas laying around. We just keep at it, trying to make things look decent. It’s a quiet life in the studio, just focusing on the work at hand. Some days the sun hits the window just right and it’s a nice place to sit and think. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just a kettle and some instant mix. It gets us through. We're just regular people who happen to enjoy making things.
