Being over at C-18 in the Mogappair West Industrial Estate means we’re right in the middle of all the action. It's a loud place, full of other shops and businesses doing their own thing. J R Associates has been operating out of this unit for some time. We spend most of our time dealing with the paperwork and the small details that come with running a place like this. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The industrial estate can be a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it, but we’ve got our routine down. We show up, check what’s on the list for the day, and get to it. Some days are slower than others, which gives us a chance to clean up the workspace or catch up on things we missed. We aren't big on corporate meetings or anything like that. Usually, it's just a quick chat over tea to figure out who is doing what. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re more focused on getting the work out the door. People in Mogappair West know it's a hardworking area. We fit right in with that. There’s no big secret to how we run things, we just try to be consistent and show up every morning. It’s a small team here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. It keeps the days interesting and keeps the business going forward.
