J. K. Udyog

Our small place is at Kd-298 in Pitampura. If you’re familiar with this part of North Delhi, you know it’s a mix of homes and small businesses all crammed together. J. K. Udyog isn't a massive factory; it’s more of a focused workspace where we get things done. We’ve been here for a while and the neighbors know us as the guys who are always moving boxes. The space is a bit tight, especially when a new shipment of raw materials arrives. We have to stack things carefully just to have room to walk. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find people in suits. We wear comfortable clothes because there’s always something to lift or move. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just try to finish the orders that come in without making a mess of things. Sometimes the Delhi heat makes the afternoon slow, but we push through it. It’s an honest way to make a living. We don't do much advertising. Most of our work comes from people we’ve known for years. We just keep our heads down, watch the quality of what we’re making, and try to stay organized in our little corner of Pitampura. It’s a simple life, but the work is steady and it keeps us all occupied.
