India Software Group is located right in the middle of all the chaos on Theagaraya Road in T. Nagar. Our building is No. 114, and if you’ve ever been to this part of Chennai, you know how crowded it gets with all the shoppers and traffic. It can be a real headache to find parking, so most of us just take the bus or get dropped off nearby. Inside the office, it’s a lot quieter than the street outside. We deal with software stuff all day long. It isn’t always exciting, but it’s what we know how to do. The office has been here for a good amount of time, and we’ve seen the shops around us change quite a bit. We have a small team, and we all know each other’s habits by now. There’s always someone complaining about the air conditioning or the slow internet, but we manage. We aren’t trying to be some giant corporation with fancy slogans or missions. We just show up, sit at our desks, and write code or fix bugs until it’s time to go home. Lunch is usually something quick from one of the hotels nearby. T. Nagar has plenty of food options, which is one of the perks of being here. Sometimes we stay late when a project is giving us trouble, watching the lights of the city from the window. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people trying to do a good job. We keep things simple.
