Our office is tucked away at 315/3 Appu Colony, which is in the Belly Area of West Anna Nagar in Chennai. The pin code is 600040. It is a very busy part of town, and the traffic around here in the mornings can be quite something. Inside the office, it is a pretty typical scene with people sitting at their desks in front of computers. We do software work, but we don't use a lot of big words to talk about it. It involves a lot of typing, checking for errors, and sitting through meetings to figure out what to do next. The building we are in is just a regular one for this neighborhood. We have a small corner where we keep the water cooler and eat our lunch. Most of the staff comes from different parts of Chennai. We’ve been at this location for a good while now. The air conditioning has to stay on all the time because the Chennai heat is no joke. We don’t have any of those fancy modern office perks like game rooms or free snacks. It is just a place where we come to do our work and earn a living. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a project, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. It is a steady routine in a busy city, and we are just here doing our part. We usually just grab a coffee from the stall down the street when we need a break.
