Started on Subbu Street a few years back. It’s a quiet spot in Thiruvanmiyur, near the beach side but inland enough to stay busy with the locals. We mostly handle technical repairs and some software stuff for people nearby. It gets hot in the afternoons, so the fan is always on and the door stays open to catch a breeze. We aren't a big shop, just a few of us here. People drop by with broken screens or slow laptops that won't boot. Sometimes the internet acts up, but we manage. Most days involve a lot of cable management and drinking tea from the stall at the corner. We don’t have fancy office chairs or anything like that. Just some sturdy tables and a lot of tools scattered around. It’s basic work, really. We look at the problem, see if it can be fixed, and tell the owner how long it’ll take. Chennai can be a bit chaotic, but this little corner at 23/5 is usually okay. We aren't trying to change the world, just keeping things running for our neighbors. Usually, someone is here by nine, and we stay until the work is done or we get too tired. If the parts are available, it’s fast. If not, we wait for the delivery guy to show up. That’s about it for us. We just keep our heads down and work on whatever comes through the door.
