Our office is located at No. 122 on 19th Street in Burma Nagar, which is part of the Sadayankuppam area. It is right on the edge of Chennai and Thiruvallur, so it has a bit of a suburban feel. The street is usually full of activity with people moving about and local vendors. We have a simple setup in a building that has seen better days, but it serves our purpose just fine. Inside, it is mostly just open space with desks pushed together. We do not go in for any of that corporate decor. It is a practical workplace where we focus on getting the day's tasks completed. The air can get a bit humid here, so the ceiling fans are almost always running at full speed. We have a small area in the back where we keep some snacks and water. Most of the people working here are from the local area, so we all know the shortcuts to avoid the main road traffic. It is a very down-to-earth environment. We talk about cricket or the weather during our breaks. There is nothing special about the building itself, but it is where we spend our forty hours a week. We just try to keep our heads down and work through the pile of things we have to do. It is a honest, straightforward way to make a living and we are okay with that.
