Htc Software Development Centre Pvt. Ltd. is based out of Unit 31 in the SDF-II building. We are located in Phase-II of the MEPZ zone in Tambaram. If you have ever been to MEPZ, you know it is a large place with a lot of security and many different buildings. Finding Unit 31 can take a minute if it is your first time, but we are tucked in there among the other tech companies. It is a standard software office environment. We have rows of computers, some whiteboards that are usually covered in scribbles, and a lot of empty coffee cups. We have been in Tambaram for quite a long time now. The software we develop is mostly for specific business needs, so it is not the kind of thing you see in stores. We are a group of developers who just like to code. We don't have a big HR department or a fancy breakroom with a pool table. We just have our desks and our work. The commute into MEPZ can be a bit of a grind with the traffic at the main gate, but we are used to it. Lunch is usually a quick walk to the canteen or someone bringing in food to share with the rest of the team. We are not a massive multinational corporation. We are just a local team doing software development right here in Unit 31. It is a focused place to work, and we try to keep things simple and productive without any corporate fuss.
