We are located at A/41 in the Sherrif Apartment, within the Gold Field Compound. If you know Mumbai, you know the area around the Sion-Bandra Link Road is always packed. Hindustan Moulds And Dies fits right into this busy Kalakilla neighborhood. Space is tight, as it always is in this city, but we use every inch of our spot in the compound. The building isn't much to look at from the outside, but inside we have our machines and our benches set up just the way we need them. It gets quite loud with all the traffic outside and the work inside, but we’re used to it. We spend our days focusing on moulds and dies for various local projects. There’s a lot of dust and the smell of cooling oil in the air. We don't have a secretary or a lobby with magazines. You usually have to step over a few crates just to get to the main desk. It’s a real working environment, not a polished office. We drink our tea standing up and talk about the jobs we have to finish by the weekend. Mumbai moves fast, and we try to keep up without making a big fuss about it. We’re just regular folks doing technical work in a crowded corner of the city. If you’re coming down the Link Road, just find the Gold Field Compound and we’re in the Sherrif block. We've been here long enough that the security guards know us.
