Our shop is located at A-44 in Phase I of the MEPZ area, right off the GST Road in Tambaram. It’s a busy part of town and the traffic can be a real headache some mornings when we're trying to get inside. The building itself is pretty standard for this industrial zone. We spend most of our hours here dealing with machines and engineering tasks that people bring to us. It isn't a place for meetings in suits; it's more about getting grease on your hands and making sure the equipment is running right. The space is filled with different parts and tools we've collected over the years. Some days it feels a bit crowded, but we know where everything is kept. Being in the MEPZ zone means we have plenty of neighbors doing similar work. We usually have the doors open to catch a breeze, though it doesn't help much with the heat in Tambaram. It’s just a regular workplace where we show up, do the work, and go home. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. Usually, people just know us from around the area or they've been coming here for years. The floor is concrete and the lights flicker sometimes, but it’s home for us during the work week. We just focus on the machines and getting through the daily list of things to fix or build. We keep a kettle in the corner for tea during our afternoon breaks.
