Agra Wire Industries

Agra Wire Industries is based at number 19 in the Alsa Mall on Monteith Road in Egmore. It’s a bit unusual for an industrial-sounding business to be in a mall, but we’ve been here for quite some time. We deal with various types of wire and industrial supplies. Our space is more of an office and a small storage area than a factory floor. Most of our actual work involves coordinating orders and making sure the right materials get to the right people. Egmore is a busy part of town, and Alsa Mall is a landmark most people know. We see a lot of foot traffic, but most people are there for the shops and food, while we’re tucked away focusing on our logs and shipments. It can get a bit noisy when the mall is busy, but inside our unit, it’s mostly just the sound of phones and keyboards. We don’t do any big marketing; we just rely on the people who have been buying from us for years. It’s a simple operation, really. We have some samples on the desk and a lot of ledgers to keep track of. Working out of the mall has its perks, like being close to everything, but we’re mostly just focused on the day's tasks. It’s a steady job in a familiar place, and we've got a routine that works for us.
