Hexel Export

Our office is tucked into the Eknath Complex on Pycrofts Road, right at 202/9. If you know Royapettah, you know how loud and crowded it can get in the afternoons. There is always a lot of traffic outside and the sound of horns usually makes its way through our windows. Hexel Export is basically just a few of us working in a space that is often filled with boxes and tape. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to people about shipping schedules and checking if the containers are on time. It is a lot of back and forth, and sometimes the paperwork is a real headache. We aren't a giant company with hundreds of employees. We are just a small group trying to get things from one place to another without too many mistakes. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment is due, eating snacks at our desks while we double-check the labels. The lift in the complex is a bit slow, so we usually just take the stairs if we aren't carrying anything heavy. We have been doing this for a few years now and have learned a lot by just making mistakes and fixing them as we go. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our toes every single day. We don't have much time for fancy talk, we just focus on getting the crates moved out and the bills paid.
