Henkel India Limited

Our office is located at 3, Cenotaph Road in Teynampet. It’s a well-known spot in this part of Chennai. Henkel India Limited has been here for a long time, and the building has seen a lot of changes over the years. Inside, it’s mostly desks, computers, and people on the phone. We deal with a lot of different products, mostly adhesives and some beauty stuff, though most of the heavy lifting happens elsewhere at the factories. Here in Teynampet, it’s about the logistics and making sure the business side of things doesn't fall apart. The commute can be a bit of a pain with the traffic on the main road, but once you’re inside, it’s just the usual office hum. We have people who have been with the company for twenty years and some who just started last month. We eat lunch at the small shops nearby or bring tiffins from home. It isn't a glamorous setup despite the big name. We have piles of reports and samples sitting on the corners of our desks. Sometimes the air conditioning is too cold, and other times it’s just right. We don't really have time for big corporate events or anything. Usually, it’s just about hitting the numbers and making sure the distributors are happy. It’s a steady place to work. We know the security guards by name, and they know us. We just come in, do the work, and head home when the day is done at five or six.
