We are located up on the 7th floor of the West Wing at Central Square II in Guindy. It’s a busy part of town, especially being inside the TVK Industrial Estate. Most of us get here pretty early to beat the traffic, though that doesn’t always work out. Our office isn’t anything too flashy. It’s just a place where we sit and handle the work for Harting India. We’ve got a few desks, some filing cabinets that have seen better days, and a tea kettle that probably works harder than anyone else in the building. Being in Unit B-19, B-20, and B-21 gives us enough room to spread out, which is nice since we used to be in a much tighter spot. There are a lot of other businesses around us here in the estate, so there is always some noise or movement going on outside. We mostly just keep to ourselves and focus on what needs doing for the day. It’s honest work. Some days the lift takes forever, so a few of the younger guys take the stairs, but most of us just wait. We’ve been here for a while now and know the local tea stalls pretty well. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people trying to do their jobs right. We don't have a big corporate philosophy or anything like that. We just come in, answer the phones, do the paperwork, and head home when the sun starts going down.
