Welstand Technology is up on the 3rd floor at No. 18 E 5 on Halls Road in Kilpauk. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is busy, but it’s a good spot once you get up here. Halls Road is always full of cars and people walking to the nearby shops, so there’s plenty of energy in the area. Our office isn’t huge, but we’ve managed to squeeze in enough desks for everyone. We deal with various technical things throughout the day, mostly sitting at our computers and working through code or support tickets. It’s not the kind of place with glass walls or fancy fruit water; it’s just a standard office with some mismatched chairs and a lot of filing cabinets that we should probably go through someday. We’ve got a small balcony where we go to get a bit of air when the office gets too stuffy. The traffic noise from below filters up, but it’s not too distracting. We usually have lunch together at our desks, sharing whatever we brought from home. It feels like a small family here, even though we’re a private limited company on paper. We don't go in for big meetings or long presentations. Most of our communication is just shouting across the room or talking over tea. We’ve been in Kilpauk for a good stretch now and we’ve become a fixed part of this little block on Halls Road, just working away.
