Our place is located at Plot No. 20 in the North Phase of the Guindy Industrial Estate. Being in Ekkaduthangal means we are surrounded by a lot of other workshops, warehouses, and small factories. Orbis India Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this industrial plot for a good while. The building is just a standard industrial unit, so there is nothing very special to look at from the outside. Inside, it is mostly workspace and a small area for our files and a couple of metal desks. We deal with various industrial and technical requirements that come our way. The atmosphere here is very practical and no-nonsense. We wear work boots and do not mind getting our hands a bit dirty if a specific job calls for it. It can get pretty noisy in the estate with all the machinery running nearby, but we do not notice the sound much anymore. We have a small crew and we all know our roles well. We do not spend money on fancy brochures or big advertisements. Most of our work comes from simply being here and being available when someone in the estate or nearby needs something handled. We follow the local schedule, starting when the main gates open and heading home when the trucks finally stop moving for the evening. It is a straightforward way to run a business. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay on top of things.
