We set up Okay Soft And Developers Pvt. Ltd. at No. 24 Chakkarabani Road. We are specifically down the 2nd Lane in Maduvankarai, which is part of the Narasingabhuram Extension in Guindy. Guindy is always a busy hub, so being tucked into a lane helps us avoid the worst of the noise. The office isn't very large. We have a couple of rooms packed with desks and chairs that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time debugging and writing lines of code. It’s the kind of work that makes you forget what time it is. Sometimes we realize it’s dark outside and we haven't even had our evening tea yet. The lane outside is narrow, so if two cars come at once, someone has to back up. It’s a bit of a daily drama we watch from the window. We have a small fridge in the corner for our lunches and some cold drinks. The walls are covered in some old calendars and a few whiteboards that are stained from too much use. We don't really have a fancy lobby for visitors. If someone comes by, they just pull up a spare chair next to one of the desks. It’s a very informal environment. We just focus on getting the logic right and making sure the software does what it’s supposed to do. It’s hard work but we are used to the grind by now.
