Fig Andolive Fashions

We are located on the 1st Floor at No. 406 GST Road in Chromepet. If you know this part of Chennai, you know that GST Road is almost always jammed with traffic, especially near the flyover. To get to us, you have to head upstairs, which makes it a bit quieter than the shops right on the pavement. We started Fig Andolive because we wanted to have a place of our own. It’s not a huge space, but we’ve managed to fit in enough racks for our fashion collections. We spend most of our mornings unpacking boxes and checking the seams on the new arrivals. The big windows look out over the road, so we can see the world going by while we work. We don't go in for fancy decor or expensive lighting. It’s just a clean, simple shop where the clothes are the main thing. People from the neighborhood and students from the nearby colleges often stop in to see what we have. We just try to be helpful and find the right sizes for everyone. Sometimes it gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we have the fans going. We don’t have a big mission or anything like that. We just want to run a decent shop and make sure people feel okay when they are looking around. It’s a straightforward business for us, right here in Chromepet.
