Grace Shipping & Trading Co. is up on the second floor of No.- 84 Moore Street. It’s an older building, and the stairs are a bit of a workout every morning. Moore Street is always bustling with activity, which is fitting for a shipping and trading business. You can hear the city humming all day long from our windows. Our office is filled with maps, schedules, and various trade journals. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time tracking shipments and talking to people at the port. Trading can be a bit unpredictable, so there’s always something to fix or a delay to explain. We aren't a giant corporation with shiny glass walls. It’s just a few of us in a room with some old desks and a printer that sometimes jams. We’ve been on Moore Street for a while now, and we like the location because it’s close to everything we need. Lunch is usually something quick from a nearby stall. We don't have fancy titles; we just do whatever needs doing, whether it's filing or calling suppliers. It’s the kind of place where you can wear your regular clothes and just get to work. We focus on the logistics and making sure the trading side stays on track. It’s a lot of coordination, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it over the years. We just keep moving forward and getting things done.
