Started out in Velachery a while back as Gofrugal Technologies Pvt Ltd. We are right over at No 114, Naraina Complex, which is pretty close to Sarathy Nagar. If you know the area, you know traffic can be a bit of a headache during peak hours, but we’ve been here for years now. Most of the team is local. We spend our days working on software and helping shops handle their billing and stock. It’s not always easy, especially when things get busy, but we manage. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we sit down and get the work done. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit since we first moved in. New shops open up every month it feels like. Sometimes we grab lunch nearby at the small stalls. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. People just find us or hear about us through others in the industry. It’s mostly about keeping the computers running and making sure the code works like it’s supposed to for the customers. Some days are long, particularly when there’s a big update or something breaks, but that’s just how tech goes. We try to keep things simple here. No fancy suits or corporate talk, just regular people trying to build something useful from our spot in Chennai. It’s a bit cramped with all the desks, but it works for us and the work gets out on time. We just keep moving forward one day at a time.
