Glowlitea

Glowlitea is located at 'Kalpatharu', which is on Durga Street in Sakthi Nagar, Arumbakkam. The address is a little weird because it’s Old No. 5-A but also New No. 9. We have to tell that to everyone who comes to visit so they don’t end up at the wrong house. Durga Street is a nice place to be because it’s mostly residential and a lot quieter than the main streets nearby. Our office is in a house-like building, so it doesn't feel like those cold, glass offices downtown. We’ve been here for a while, and the place has a lot of our personal touches. We deal with tea, so there are always samples around and that nice smell of dried leaves. It’s a small operation with just a few of us. We spend our time checking on tea batches and making sure things are sent out on time. It’s not a high-stress place, and we usually have a cup of tea going ourselves. Arumbakkam is a good area, and we like being part of the Sakthi Nagar community. We don't have any fancy titles or corporate rules. We just work hard and try to make sure we’re doing right by the people who buy from us. 'Kalpatharu' is a bit old-fashioned, but it’s a comfortable place to spend the day. We have our regulars who know where to find us despite the house numbers changing. It’s a simple life at Glowlitea.
