Gloebal Chem

Gloebal Chem is tucked away at W-11 on 5th Street in Anna Nagar East. It’s a nice enough area with some trees along the road. Our office is on the ground floor. It’s not very big, just a couple of rooms where we keep our files and some chemical samples. We have to be careful with how we store things, so everything is labeled clearly. It’s not a laboratory, just a trading office. My sister handles the billing and I talk to the customers. We’ve been in Anna Nagar for several years now. The neighborhood has changed a lot, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. We have a small porch where we sit sometimes when the weather is nice. We don't have a big marketing department. In fact, we don't have a marketing department at all. We just call our regular clients and see what they need for the month. It’s a very personal way of doing business. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids play cricket in the street and we have to watch out for the windows. We use an old computer that takes a while to start up, but it gets the job done eventually. We don't feel the need for anything more modern. It’s just a small family-run business trying to keep things moving. We’re usually here until six or seven in the evening, just finishing up the last of the paperwork for the day.
