G.K. Exports

We are based at 13, Ponnappa Chetty Street in the Park Town area. It’s a very busy street, and there is always something going on outside our door. G.K. Exports has been here for a good while, and we’ve gotten used to the noise and the constant movement of the neighborhood. Our office is a simple place where we manage all the details for the goods we send out. We don’t have any polished showrooms or a big team of sales people. It’s just us, some computers, and a lot of boxes. Most of our day is spent making sure that the items are packed right and that the transport is scheduled on time. Exporting can be a bit of a headache with all the different rules you have to follow, but we just take it one step at a time. We don't use any fancy corporate language or try to impress anyone with big words. We just talk to our suppliers and the shipping agents in plain English and try to keep things moving. The office can get pretty cramped when we have a lot of samples lying around, but we manage. Park Town is a great location for this kind of work because we are close to everything we need. We’ve made some good friends on this street over the years. We just try to stay honest and get the work done without making a lot of noise about it.
