Genesis Computers

We are located right in the middle of the action at the Gee Gee Electronic Market on Narasingapuram Street. If you’ve ever looked for computer parts in Mount Road, you’ve probably walked past our building. Our unit is 6/2. The market is a very specific kind of place. It’s loud, crowded, and there are wires and boxes everywhere. Genesis Computers fits right in. We’ve been here long enough to see the market change from selling old desktop parts to the latest gadgets. Our shop is small, but we make use of every inch of shelf space. Boxes are stacked nearly to the ceiling sometimes. It’s a busy environment and we usually have several things going on at once. One of us might be talking to a customer while another is testing a power supply in the back. We don’t have a fancy waiting area or a water cooler. People usually just stand by the counter and chat while we work. It’s a very direct way of doing business. We know most of the other shop owners on Narasingapuram Street, so if we don’t have a specific part, we usually know who does. It’s a community of its own down here. We enjoy being part of the hustle. It’s not a job for someone who wants a quiet, sterile office environment. We like the energy of the market and the variety of people who walk through the door every day. It keeps us on our toes.
