General Traders

General Traders is located at 22, Strotten Muthia Street. It is a narrow street but there is a lot of history here. Our shop has been around for a good while, and the walls show it. We sell a bit of everything, hence the name. The shelves are packed high with all sorts of items that people in the neighborhood might need. We don't have a digital inventory system; we just know where everything is by heart. If you ask for something, we can usually point to the right corner immediately. The floor is made of old stone and stays cool even when it’s hot outside. We spend most of our time chatting with the regulars who have been coming to us for years. It’s more of a community hub than just a place to buy things. We open up the doors in the morning and wait to see who stops by. Sometimes we just sit on the wooden stools and watch the world go by when it’s slow. There’s no rush here. We handle the sales one by one and write everything down in our big ledger. It’s a very straightforward way of doing business. We don't do any advertising or anything like that. People just know where we are. It’s a simple shop on a busy street, and that’s plenty for us. We've seen a lot of changes on this street over the decades, but this little corner stays pretty much the same.
