Our office is located up on the 5th floor of Chamiers Towers, right there at 37 Chamiers Road. It’s a decent enough building and being on a higher floor gives us a bit of a view of the trees and the street below, though we’re usually too busy looking at our computer screens to notice much of that. We handle business solutions here at Gemsoft. It sounds like a complicated title, but mostly it's just about sorting out software and systems so things work the way they’re supposed to for our clients. The lift can be a bit slow in the mornings when everyone is trying to get to their desks at once. We have a small pantry where we hang out during our breaks and talk about things other than work. It's a mix of people here, some who are really into the coding side and others who handle all the paperwork and phone calls. Chamiers Road is always packed with cars and bikes, so getting here in the morning can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. We don't really do the whole corporate suit-and-tie thing in this office. Most of us just wear whatever is comfortable for sitting at a desk all day. We’ve been in this spot for a bit now and it’s started to feel like home. There’s always someone troubleshooting a bug or talking through a problem at the small whiteboard we have. It gets a bit noisy when we’re all in the middle of a big project.
