Frontline Computers

If you walk down P E Koil Street in Ayanavaram, you’ll find us at number 1. Frontline Computers has been here for a good bit now. The shop isn’t huge, but it fits everything we need. There’s usually a pile of old monitors in the back and a few laptops waiting on the front counter. It gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but the ceiling fan keeps us going. We mostly deal with people from around the neighborhood who bring in stuff that’s acting up. It could be a slow computer or something that won't turn on after a storm. We don't really have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning and see who shows up. My desk is usually covered in screws and little bits of plastic. Sometimes it takes a while to find the right part, but that’s just how it goes with electronics. We know the local shops around here and the people who walk by every day. It’s a simple setup. We don’t use any complicated jargon when talking to people because there’s no point in that. If it’s broken, we look at it. If it can be fixed, we fix it. It’s just honest work in a part of town we’ve grown very used to over the years. We keep the doors open and just handle whatever comes through the door.
