Fourthwatch Technologies Private Limited is based on the 3rd floor of No. 18 in the Self Help Industrial Estate. This is in Keezhkattalai, Chennai. Being in an industrial estate means there is always a lot of noise and activity around us. You have small workshops and other businesses all doing their thing. We are tucked away on the top floor, which gives us a bit of a view of the surrounding roofs. Chennai can be incredibly hot, and the 3rd floor definitely feels it, so we rely on our fans and AC to keep going. It’s a practical location for us. We don't have any marble floors or glass elevators here. It’s just stairs and a regular office door. We spend our time working on technology projects and dealing with the usual daily hiccups. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. People come to work in casual clothes and we talk about cricket during our breaks. We chose Keezhkattalai because it’s accessible for the team. We aren't trying to be the next big global corporation; we just want to do our work well and keep the lights on. It’s a busy, gritty part of town, and we like that energy. There’s no pretense here. We just show up, do the hours, and head home through the Chennai traffic. It’s a long day sometimes but we get it done.
