We are over in East Tambaram, specifically at 10A Shelly Nagar. Our post office is Selaiyur, and the pincode is Chennai-73. It’s a residential-feeling area that has slowly seen more businesses like Flsmidth Pvt Ltd moving in. Our building is a basic structure, nothing that would stand out too much from the street. Inside, we have our desks set up and we just get on with the day. East Tambaram is a bit quieter than the center of Chennai, but it still has its busy moments, especially near the station. We like it here because it feels more like a neighborhood than a cold industrial park. The office itself is pretty plain. We have a small area for files and a place to sit and have our lunch. We usually bring our own food from home and eat together. The morning commute isn't too bad for most of us who live nearby. We don’t use a lot of big words or have fancy meetings that go on forever. We just talk about what needs to be done and then we do it. If a bulb blows out, we fix it ourselves. If the floor needs a sweep, we take care of it. It’s just a normal way of working. We’ve been at this address for a while and we’ve gotten used to the way the sunlight hits the windows in the late afternoon.
