Fairmacs

We’ve been at 87 Moore Street for a good while now. It’s an old building, but it has character. Fairmacs is basically just us doing our daily tasks in the shipping and logistics world. Moore Street can be quite tight with all the traffic, but we’re used to it by now. Our office is pretty straightforward. No big signs or flashy lights. We spend most of our time dealing with customs papers and tracking where containers are. It’s a lot of back-and-forth emails and phone calls to the port. Some days are more stressful than others, especially when a shipment gets held up for no clear reason. We just try to stay on top of things. It’s not the kind of job you see in movies; it’s mostly just making sure the numbers match and the dates are right. We have a small team here. We’ve known each other for years, so the atmosphere is pretty relaxed despite the workload. People drop in occasionally to drop off documents. We usually have a pot of coffee going. Being near the heart of the business district makes it convenient, even if parking is a nightmare. We’re just a local business trying to keep our clients' cargo moving without too many hiccups. It’s what we do, and we’ve been doing it a long time. The rainy season sometimes makes the street a mess, but we still make it in every morning to check the latest manifests.
