Our office for Excell Freight Carriers Pvt.Ltd. is tucked away in Jeevan Bhima Nagar, over in the Anand Nagar (W) Extension. If you know the area, it’s mostly residential around the edges but we keep things moving from our little corner at 25/3099. It’s mostly about trucks, schedules, and a lot of phone calls to drivers who are usually stuck in traffic somewhere. The desks are always piled with transport memos and logbooks that we try to keep organized, though it’s a constant battle. We’ve been operating this freight business for a long time now. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit. Most days it’s just us figuring out the best routes and making sure the cargo gets where it’s supposed to go without too much trouble. Sometimes the rain slows things down or a truck breaks down on the highway, and then the phones really start ringing. We just deal with things as they come. The neighborhood is fairly quiet compared to the main roads, which is nice when we need to focus. We have a few people who have been with us since the beginning, and we all just know the routine by heart. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the paperwork is sorted out before the sun goes down. We don’t do much advertising; people mostly find us because we’ve been in the same spot for so many years and they know we’re reliable and easy to find.
