You can find Evalon Software in Nolambur, which is a growing part of Chennai. We are located in Block 7, on the first floor of the Jain Sundarbans complex. It’s a large residential area, so it doesn't really feel like we are at a corporate office park. The security guards at the gate usually know us by now. We have a decent space inside the flat that we converted into an office. There are wires everywhere and a few whiteboards with scribbles on them. We don't really have a cleaning crew that comes in every day, so we mostly tidy up after ourselves. The kitchen area is where we keep the kettle for tea. It’s a pretty laid-back environment. We don't have a strict dress code or anything like that. Most of the time, we are just sitting around our desks trying to figure out some code or fixing errors. It’s a good location because there are lots of food joints nearby in Nolambur when we get hungry. The light in the office is good during the day because of the large windows. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, and it’s very quiet in the complex at night. We just do our work and try to keep things simple. It’s a small team and we prefer it that way. No big meetings, just work and a bit of chat now and then. We get it done eventually.
