Essar Rubber Industries

Chintadripet is one of those places where the streets are narrow and everything feels very old. Essar Rubber Industries is located on Dharmaraja Koil Street, at what used to be Old No.26 but is now New No.14. It can be a bit confusing for delivery drivers who aren't from around here. The building is an old one, with high ceilings and thick walls that keep it a bit cooler than the street outside. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a long time, and we’ve seen the shops around us change hands many times. Our space is filled with rolls of rubber and old ledgers. We don't use much fancy technology; we still like to write things down in our books. The street is always busy with people going to the temple or the market, so there’s a lot of noise and energy. We usually have the front door open to let some air in, and we chat with the people passing by. It’s a very local way of doing business. We don't have a big corporate sign or a lobby. It's just a place where we work hard and try to keep our customers happy. Chintadripet has a lot of history, and we feel like a small part of that every day when we open up for work. Sometimes the rain floods the street a little, but we just put up the boards and keep going like we always do.
