Our office is tucked away at 3/359B on 3rd Cross Street. It is in Rose Nagar, which is part of the Kovilambakkam area. If you know the 3rd Main Road, we are just off that on Sundaram Avenue. It is a pretty quiet neighborhood for the most part, which helps when we need to concentrate on the systems we are building. The building itself is straightforward, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside. Inside, it is just a bunch of desks and a small area where we keep our bags and lunch boxes. We have been here for a while and have gotten to know the people walking their dogs or heading to the shops nearby. It feels more like a home than a sterile office. We deal with various tech things every day. It is often quiet inside, except for the sound of keyboards clicking and the occasional fan humming. Being in Kancheepuram district but still part of Chennai gives it a specific feel. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of people. It is a small group of us trying to do good work. We spend a lot of time troubleshooting and making sure everything runs like it should. Sometimes the rainy season makes the streets a bit messy, but we are used to it. Rose Nagar is a decent place to be based, and we plan on staying here at Sundaram Avenue for the foreseeable future.
