Multi - Tec

Multi - Tec is tucked away in Ekkattuthangal. No. 8 Pooomagal 3rd Cross Street is a bit of a walk from the main road, but it’s easy to find if you’ve been here before. We do a lot of technical work that involves machines and tools. It gets pretty dusty inside with all the activity going on. We have been in Chennai 32 for some time and have gotten used to the rhythm of the place. Most of our mornings start with a fair amount of noise as we get things running. We handle various repairs and some small-scale assembly for people. It isn't a glamorous job by any means. The floor is just plain concrete and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we don't really mind. Our focus is mainly on finishing the jobs that people bring to us. Sometimes it's a tiny part that needs fixing, and other times it's a project that takes the whole day. We usually take our lunch breaks together when things aren't too frantic. The traffic outside on Pooomagal is always something to watch. We try to keep our tools organized, though things do get misplaced during busy hours. We usually find them eventually. Our customers are mostly locals or people working in the businesses nearby. We don't have a receptionist sitting at a desk. You just walk in and talk to whoever is available. It’s a very straightforward way to run things. We just want to get the work done and go home.
