You can find us at No 6 on Kulakaraj Street in Sashtri Colony Lane. We are right before the Vetri Theatre in Chrompet. It’s a quiet little street most of the time compared to the main road. Dr. Maheshwari Mahan Karunakarar runs the place and focuses on Siddha Vaidhiya. We have many traditional medicines stored here in glass jars and packets. The smell of herbs is always in the air when you walk in. Many people come to us because they prefer this way of healing over regular hospitals. The clinic is tucked away but once you find the lane near the theatre it is easy. We don't have a lot of space, just a waiting area and the consultation room. It feels very personal here. The doctor takes time to listen to everyone, so sometimes the wait can be a bit long. We tell people to be patient because good care takes time. Most of our visitors are from right here in Chrompet or nearby suburbs. We have been here long enough that everyone knows the way. It is a humble setup. We don't have a fancy website or digital screens. We just write down what you need and give you the medicine. It is a very direct way of doing things. People trust the old methods we use here. We just want to keep the local community healthy using these traditional ways without making it too complicated for anyone who visits us.
